Hanover girls volleyball needed all five sets Wednesday night, but the Bears got the opener they wanted at home, beating Coe-Brown Academy 3-2 in their NHIAA Division II debut. It was the first varsity match of the year for both sides, and Hanover walked out 1-0 after a grind that went the distance. Set-by-set points were not posted; the final stands Hanover 3, Coe-Brown 2.
